I work for Boeing, and we were getting out of a lease. We needed a contractor that would work within our schedule and quite frankly the work itself wasn’t great. Jack didn’t care. After placing calls to 2 other contractors with no response we found AGH Commercial, A Green Home Builder, and could not be happier! We were in need of a new front door and their estimator was prompt and knowledgeable and repsonded with his quote the very next day. When I finally got in touch with another contractor and waited a week for his bid it was 30% higher than the bid from A Green Home! The work was completed in the timeframe discussed and everything is working great. I also found out that A Green Home installs tankless water heaters which I am going to look into next. I had a horizontally-sliding bathroom door whose rear wheels had come off track. After much struggle, myself and several others could not get the wheels back on track and the door was essentially jammed. During the initial visit, Jack and an assistant could not physically get the rear wheel back on track either and the plan was unfortunately to tear the wall out and replace the door. Before doing so, he gave it one more try with the assistance of another experienced contractor who creatively managed to get enough access to remove the door, repair the rear wheel set, and re-install the door. It is now working like new. I was completely satisfied and he also delivered a price that could not be beat. Thanks Jack!

Our bathroom sink recently overflowed. The water went into the bedroom and through the floor and ceiling to the room below. I called Jack because of his prior good work. He came immediately and explained what needed to be done. He arranged for a subcontractor to come with drying equipment. Then, he arranged for the holes to be patched and the walls and ceiling painted. He did a terrific job. Because Jack acted so fast, the damage was a lot less than it could have been.

We recently sold a single family dwelling that was built in 1916, but not before we did some minor updates and compliance projects necessary to sell a home in San Francisco. After suffering major water damage from a leaky roof, we found A Green Home on Yelp and gave them a call. We were immediately impressed by Jack – not only did he answer the phone on a Sunday morning (what a work ethic), but he came over that same day to inspect the damage! He was back the very next day with a crew for demolition so we could start the drying process. I also cannot emphasize enough how incredibly helpful Jack was in standing by our side and advocating on our behalf with our insurance company. I had no idea we weren’t getting a fair estimate for repairs until Jack pointed out how much more we should be reimbursed. Jack took the time to meet with us and our insurance company and impressively fought on our behalf. We ended up with 3x more than what was in the original insurance estimate. I cannot say enough good things about Jack and his A Green Home construction crew! He did a fantastic job on my kitchen and dining room remodel and it came out more beautiful than I could have imagined. Of course his work is expert, but they made the process clean, organized and efficient. Jack and his A Green Home team quickly recovered our house from major flood damage. A severe storm, combined with a municipal storm drain backup, destroyed our entire ground floor. While the emergency flood cleanup and demolition team were doing their work, Jack scoped out a very reasonable estimate for the repairs. He was committed to starting the job as soon as possible by staying in constant touch with the demo crew. This allowed his team to come in immediately after the demo team completed their work. Jack’s team was friendly, reliable and trustworthy to have in our home. Their work was high quality: the repaired dry-wall, wood trim and paint was all seamless. They worked solid days to complete the job on time and restore our living areas. Jack and the team weren’t happy until we were completely happy. During final inspection, they pointed out and corrected things that even we didn’t notice. We recommend them enthusiastically and would hire them again.

Jack and his crew work the way you would have people work if it was your business. They are reassuring, professional, and they never cut corners. We had our home partly flooded in a water main break, and after the disaster-recovery crew cut two feet off the bottom of all the walls, it felt even more bleak. A Green Home came in, moved furniture around, and repaired the damage not just well, but with artistry. They evened crooked walls, matched moulding, and did extra touch up and painting just to make the entire effect look great. They got an expert to install the carpet.
