Jack Salvato was born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula. The San Francisco Bay Area is home and what he knows best. Jack has been in the Construction Industry for over 20 years and has experience in all aspects of the Construction trade. Over these years, Jack has held multiple positions in the Home Renovation field and the last being Project Management of a Construction firm.
In 2008 Jack branched out on his own and created his first Construction Company, A Green Home right here in San Mateo. As his Company grew, Jack expanded his services to the Commercial sector and created his second Company, AGH Commercial (A Green Home Commercial) a few years later.
Jack’s interests include Sports, Fishing & Hunting. Jack is also on the Board of Members at the Peninsula Italian Social Club in San Mateo.

This is a long overdue review for Jack and the team from A Green Home. Back in December The City flooded our basement (long story that needs no re-telling here) and although I am mentally prepared for an earthquake, flooding took me by and I didn’t even know where to begin. Enter – Jack Salvato and his amazing team. Our basement was flooded, and Jack negotiated and worked through everything along with another amazing company, Ideal, who did the clean up. Jack took the time to find out what we wanted and advised on what would work and what wouldn’t with suggestions and ideas we hadn’t even considered. We were rebuilding so why not do it properly? I could go into minute detail about everything they did, but then you probably wouldn’t bother reading a long post about my new basement. Suffice to say – this team is amazing and I can’t recommend them highly enough for any job you may have. If I have anything further to do on the house, flooding or not, A Green Home will definitely be my starting point. Why so long for the review – well I was going to be organized and post before and after photos…. I realize I am not that organized. THANK YOU, JACK!
